Richard Anthony Melton, age 86, of Cedar Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at his home.
In accordance with Mr. Melton’s wishes, his remains will be cremated and a private service will be held.
Mr. Melton was born October 17, 1935 in Sorgho, KY to the late Joseph Able and Anna Florence Faulkerson Melton. He was a mausoleum caretaker.
Mr. Melton is survived by his wife, Mary Johnson Melton; sons, Robert Melton, Darrell Melton, and Ronald Melton; daughters, Anna Bellamy, Brenda (Carroll) Dickens, Joyce (Anthony) Hester, and Becky (Dan) Sligar; brothers, David Melton and Frank Melton; sister, Mary Singer; 23 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
