Rexford Harvell Bass, Jr. age 80 of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at his home.
He was born on August 27, 1942, to the late Rexford and Mildred Barnes Bass in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Mr. Rex is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diane Bass; children, Sam (Michele) Bass and Lisa (Kelly) Heaton; grandchildren, Adam (CiCi Delacruz) Brookfield, Riley (Lindsay) Bass, Zachary Heaton, Cameron (Reagan) Bass; great-grandchildren, Ellie Brookfield, and Ayden Brookfield; siblings, Jana Rubin and Kathy (David) Dickens and a host of nieces and nephews.
A life celebration will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 2 pm in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Cemetery with Adam Brookfield, Riley Bass, Zachary Heaton, Cameron Bass, Ricky Bryant, and Greg Deagan will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service.
