Randall Phillip “Randy” Gill, age 61, of Springfield, died on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at St Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Randy Mullinax officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Randy was born on August 24, 1959 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Joseph Edward and Arretta Jeannette Ledford Gill. He was of Baptist faith and formerly worked as a material handler at Unarco. In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Gill.
He is survived by a son, Randall Phillip Gill of Franklin, Kentucky; daughter, Christy L. Roach and husband Buster of Coopertown; brothers, Edward and Michael Gill both of Springfield; sister, Carolyn Gill of Springfield; grandchildren, Logan and Austin Roach; great-grandchild, Lilly Roach. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
