Pauline Allgood Tucker, age 81, was welcomed home by the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2022. Pauline passed away peacefully at her home in Greenbrier.
Mrs. Tucker was born on April 16, 1941, to the late Willy and Nettie Payne Allgood.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Drew Edward Allgood, brothers, Jr. Allgood, Fred Allgood, sisters, Thelma Edison, Betty Ardito, and Gladys Jennings.
Pauline was kindly known as “Granny” by everyone who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Pauline was the owner and operator of Johnnie’s Upholstery for over 55 years with Johnnie B Redfern, her late husband. Granny loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the most straightforward and honest person one could ever meet.
Pauline Tucker is survived by her sons, Douglas Tucker and wife Mary Ann of Greenbrier, Tony McWhirter of Greenbrier, brothers, Bill Allgood, John Wayne Allgood, Bud Allgood, Harold Allgood, sisters, Mable Tholl, Martha Smith, grandchildren David Tucker and wife Trisha Darling, Victor Tucker and wife Bethany, and Nicole Bellamy and husband Jonathan Hardaway.
