Norma Jean Hunter, age 94, of Adams, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at Spring Meadows in Clarksville.
Mrs. Hunter was born November 18, 1928 in Morganfield, KY to the late John B. and Pauline Riggs Organ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Buford “R.B.” Hunter; sons, Bill Stewart and Michael Hunter; brother, Donald Organ; and a sister, Sue Kasey.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by her sons, Robert G. (Pam) Hunter and Jack L. Hunter; daughter, Paula J. (Mike) Eden; 6 grandchildren, Jason Hunter, Adrienne Hunter, Billy Joe Stewart, Ricky Stewart, Kayla (Joseph) Henderson and Paige Eden; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Pastor Landon Meadow officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery with Robert Hunter, Jack Hunter, Mike Eden, Joseph Henderson, Jason Hunter, Jeremy Henderson and Josh Henderson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until time of the service at 1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
