Nancy Karen Paul, age 79, of Springfield, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville.
Ms. Paul was born August 23, 1944, in Greenville, PA, to the late Harvey and Alice Locke Axtell.
She worked in the manufacturing industry most of her life.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Paul was preceded in death by her husband, William Kemp Butler.
She is survived by a son, Tim Shafer; daughters, Kimberly (Raymond) Harris, and Dana (Doug) Crocker; 6 grandchildren, Brennan Avery Kemp Proffitt, Carrter Penn Lynn, Tiffani Harley (T.J.) Murphey, Joshua Dale (Allison) Kerr, Cody Shafer and Cory Shafer; and 4 great-grandchildren, Paisley Blair Murphey, Rhett Cecil Murphey, Savannah Jade Kerr and Jaxon Shepherd Kerr.
Ms. Paul’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
