Mrs. Nancy Carter Williams, 66, of Springfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at her home.
Nancy was born December 6, 1955, in Russellville, KY to the late Thomas Taylor and Lillie Opal Gainous Carter.
She was a graduate of Adairville High School. Nancy was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church and was a retired Customer Service Technician with LifeSkills. She loved shopping and butterflies. Nancy loved her family and she loved spending time with each one of them. Her life was being with her grandchildren and being their “Ninnie”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: James Earl and Joe Gleen Carter, and by her sister: Carolyn Faye Hallman.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 46 years: Larry Williams of Springfield, by her daughter and son-in-law: Amanda and Kenneth Spivey of Adairville, KY, her son: Corey Williams of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Carter Spivey, Hannah Williams, Caroline Spivey, Reed Williams, and Carson Spivey, by her sister and brothers-in-law: Betty Jean and Eddie Henderson of Keysburg, KY, and Bryant Hallman of Adairville, KY, and by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Milldale Chapel with Pastor Keith Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Chapel Cemetery with David Fulton, Kenneth Williams, Jimmy Sanders, Joe Williams, Brent Hallman, and Jeff Osborne serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons: Carter Spivey, Reed Thomas Williams, and Carson Moore Spivey. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Milldale Chapel.
