Nancy Carolyn Johnson, age 85 of White House TN, departed this life and went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
She was born in Nashville on January 31, 1938, and was a proud graduate of North High School and David Lipscomb College. After graduation, she taught 5-6th grade and led the chorus at Jones Elementary. She was an active member of Parkwood Church of Christ and Madison Church of Christ.
She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth (Linda) Green, Charlotte Lanham, and Steve (Kay) Green; her children, Loy (Doug) Rogers, Boyd (Dameron) Johnson, and Gretchen Carol Johnson; and her grandchildren, Joy, Christian (Selina), Sarah, Noah and Josiah Rogers, and David and Will Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Jimmy Johnson and her mother and father, Francis McCool Green Smith and William Vreeland Green.
Funeral services will be conducted at Woodbine Funeral Home, HICKORY CHAPEL, 5852 Nolensville Road, on Friday, February 2, 2024. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by a service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
