Mattie Allean Pilkerton of White House, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, she was 92 years old.
Mattie was born June 19, 1930 in Monterey, Tn. to the late Mckinley Phillips and Dora B. Roberts Phillips.
Mattie was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles (Billy) Pilkerton, as well as all of her siblings: Rev. Eugene Phillips, Lonzo Phillips. Willie Collier and Mary Vaughn.
Mrs. Pilkerton is survived by her children Richard (Anita) Pilkerton and Barbara (Gary) Jenkins.
Mattie leaves her behind two grandchildren Misty Biggs and Jeremy (LeighAnn) Pilkerton, as well as her four great-grandchildren: Autumn Dempsey, Jordan Dempsey, Austin Pilkerton and Reid Pilkerton.
Mattie’s family would like to thank Ann Roberts, Cathrine (Ronald) Shepard, Fern Stoneman, Shirley Palmer, Doise Jones and so many others for every act of kindness and every expression of love shown to Mattie in her final days.

Pastor Jonathan Denton will be officiating a Graveside service Wednesday the Thirty-First Day of August at ten o’clock in the morning in the Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
The family’s request is to please dress casual due to warmer weather.
