Margie Bell Graves, age 88, of Cross Plains, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Elite Elderly Care in Hendersonville.
She was born October 1, 1934 in Clarksville, TN to Buist Gibbs & Hattie Bell Morgan Fletcher.
She worked in various factory jobs over the years but spent most of her life working as a homemaker. She was a member of Cross Plains Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Graves, Sr.; daughter, Donna Lee Graves; brothers, Tandy, Eugene, JC, Franklin, Willie & George; son-in-law, Walter Sloan.
She is survived by her sons, Harold (Ginny) Graves, Jr., Nashville, TN, Randy Graves, Antioch, TN and Danny (Kelly) Graves, McMinnville, TN; daughters, Julie (Jerry) Napier, Millersville, TN and Melissa (Tom) Payton, Atlanta, GA; brother, James; sisters, Martha and Margaret; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (James) Farrow, Crystal Napier, Cassidy Graves and Shelby Sloan; great-grandson, Liam Farrow.
Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, August 21, 2023 at 1 pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Richard Garza officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family is planned for Monday, August 21, 2023 10 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
