Margaret Louise Bagwell Herndon, age 87 of Greenbrier, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Jubilee House Assisted Living in Goodlettsville, TN.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Charlie Herndon and Marvin Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, August 18th, and from 12 pm until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born February 4, 1934 in Cedar Hill, TN to the late John Lee, Sr and Lillian Evans Bagwell. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Springfield, TN.
She enjoyed cooking, spending time with friends and her children, grands, and greats, and sharing her life-long days with the love of her life for almost 69 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Roger Alan Herndon, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Charles B. Herndon, Sr of Greenbrier, TN; daughter, Julie (Jerry) Creasy of Hendersonville, TN; sons, Charlie (Marsha) Herndon of Ridgetop, TN, Rick (Tina) Herndon of Mt. Juliet, TN; daughter-in-law, Dee Herndon of Greenbrier, TN; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way and 1 great-great-grandson.
