Marcus Kempf Ellis, age 74, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his home.
Mr. Ellis was born May 2, 1949, in Springfield, to the late Cecil Ewing Ellis and Mary Frances Dickerson Ellis.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a handyman and helper on the pipeline.
Mr. Ellis is survived by his daughter, Kerry Michelle Ellis; 2 grandchildren; brother, Alex Whitfield Ellis; and sisters, Martha Adkins, and Lavonne Winters.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am Friday, January 26th in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery.
