Lucy Mae Moon Hicks, age 88 of Goodlettsville, passed from this life on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at her home.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Crouch and Bro. Billy Traughber officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service.
Ms. Lucy was born July 21, 1937 in Springfield to the late Felix and Maude Baker Moon. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville and was a retired Branch Manager at Investors Savings & Loan Bank. She had also worked for many years at Farmers Bank. She stayed active keeping things around her home clean and spending time with her family. She loved her family and gospel and country music. She also loved her animals, especially Snowman and Jacque, who preceded her in death. Her daughter, Sheila Watts Stephens and brother, Sory Moon preceded her in death as well.
Surviving her are her husband, Theron F. Hicks of Goodlettsville; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Anita Watts of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and David Shreeve of Springfield and Tina and Ronnie Mayo of White House; sister, Judy Henderson of Springfield; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the Robertson County Animal Shelter. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
