Linda-Jean-Miller

Linda Jean Miller, age 79, of White House, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Charter Senior Living. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Harold Earl and Betty Jean Bingaman Rickabaugh and the wife of the late Donald Miller. A beloved and cherished presence in the lives of many, Linda will be remembered with deep gratitude for her compassionate spirit, kind-hearted ways, and thoughtful devotion to those she loved. Because of her saving faith, her family finds comfort in the assurance that she is home with Jesus and resting in His eternal peace.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Millman and her husband Rob; and her son, Richard Mays and his fiancée Stacey Greene; grandchildren, Ashley Mays, Mayson Stickel, Alyssa Mays, and Clayton Stickel and his wife Kiya; sister, Connie Rickabaugh; nephew, Matt Carter; and niece Donia Allison. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Elaine Carter; and her beloved dog, Molly, who held a special place in her heart.

Linda called Charter Senior Living in White House, Tennessee, home for the last two years. Before that, she lived in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, for most of her adult life. She loved traveling, especially to Florida and Gatlinburg, and she found joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of time shared with family and friends. Whether relaxing by her pool or enjoying the companionship of Molly, Linda’s days were marked by warmth, devotion, and an abiding care for others.

Those who knew Linda will long remember her beautiful smile, her gentle kindness, and the lightness of her humor as gifts she offered freely and often. She had a way of staying connected that made people feel remembered and valued. Anyone who knew Linda knew that if she had your phone number, she would use it, often and repeatedly. In that steady reaching out was the unmistakable signature of a faithful, devoted heart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Active Abundance (activeabundance.org/give), a ministry founded by Linda’s daughter, Lisa. These gifts will honor Linda’s legacy by sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ with women in wilderness seasons.

A service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist Church, 108 7th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37203. Friends and family are invited to visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/murfreesboro-tn
