Linda Diana Arms, age 78, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 at White House Healthcare. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday, June 17th in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Bro. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Martin’s Chapel Cemetery with Cody Wright, Hunter Wilson, Logan Dean, Jacob Arms, Tim Moulton, and Daryl Pratt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Macon Wright.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Tuesday, and again from 11am until time of the service at 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ms. Arms was born June 16, 1946 in Guthrie, KY. She was a waitress at Larry’s Restaurant in Springfield, retiring after 22 years of service.
Ms. Arms was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Catherine Sales; granddaughter, Lindsey Wilson; and her companion for many years, Lawrence Thaxton.
She is survived by daughter, Tammy (Zack) Albright; son, Ricky (Lisa) Arms; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Arms, Julia Arms, Kandis (Cody) Wright, Autumn (Logan) Dean, Hunter (Makayla) Wilson, and Alyssa (Matt) Foster; and 4 great grandchildren, Mallory, Macon, Maggie, and Tenley.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
