Leon Wayne Lambert, a beloved figure in his community, was born on April 28, 1962, in Decatur, Alabama. He peacefully passed away on September 30, 2024 in White House, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
For years, Leon dedicated his career to Local 86, where he worked as an insulator. His passion for his trade was matched only by his dedication to his family and friends. Known for his fun and loving personality, Leon brought joy to those around him with his infectious spirit and caring nature.
Leon took great pride in his role as a grandfather, lovingly referred to as “PawPaw” by his grandchildren: Kayla, Anna, Isaiah, and Isaac. His proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren, who brought immense joy and purpose to his life. Leon leaves behind his daughters, Amanda Lambert (Brandon Tucker) and Brittany (Tom Doss) Lambert, as well as his son, Jonathan Lambert. He is also survived by his mother, Linda Lambert, and father, Carol Lambert, along with his siblings, Loretta, Julie, and Kim.
Leon enjoyed spending his leisure time outdoors, pursuing his hobbies of hunting and fishing. These activities were more than just pastimes; they were opportunities for him to connect with nature and share meaningful moments with his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Lambert, who will surely be remembered alongside him in spirit.
Leon Wayne Lambert will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. His warmth, humor, and the legacy of love he created will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.
