Larry Leroy Brashear, age 77 of Donaldson, Florida and White House, Tennessee, formerly of Indiana, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at The Waters of Springfield.
He was born October 27, 1943 in Tipton, Indiana to Donald William & Sylvia Eleanor Friend Brashear.
Larry Brashear, GiGi, as he was called by his great-grandson, lived the last few years of his life in connection with his family. He loved spending time on the mower at his son’s house, followed by hours of talking, drinking, and watching the fire. He was very loved by his children and expressed great thanks to be able to be with them. His storytelling and sharp wit was a thing to behold. We love you and thank you Dad for being with us. May you find peace and the love of God in your final frontier!
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Brashear.
He is survived by his son, Brett (Melony) Brashear, Springfield, TN; daughter, Barbie Brashear (John Bickel), Houston, TX; special companion, Caroline “Tina” Brashear; brother, Russell “Rusty” (Becky) Brashear, Frankton, IN; 3 grandchildren, Carley Brashear, Kristen Brashear, and Tyler McFadden; 2 great-grandchildren, Axel Brashear and Aslyn McFadden; several nieces and nephews.
