Lanell Hardwick White, 80, of the Martin’s Chapel community in Springfield, passed from this life on Monday, June 10, 2024, at her home.
Lanell was born March 29, 1944, in Conway, SC, to the late Nathan Ernest and Sadie Thompkins Hardwick.
She was retired from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, was a member of Martin’s Chapel Methodist Church, and was a former member of the Red Hat Society. Lanell enjoyed bowling, cross stitching, crafts, going camping, and she loved to play Wii with her grandson.
Lanell is survived by her husband of 54 years: Ralph M. White of Springfield, by her son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Angela White of Greenbrier, by her grandson: William White of Greenbrier, and by her brothers: Ernie and Edwin Hardwick both of South Carolina.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 12th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Hargrove officiating. Interment will follow in the Martin’s Chapel Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
