Kelly May Winchester, age 61, of Adams, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home. Mrs. Winchester’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Mrs. Winchester was born September 16, 1964, in Quincy, Mass. to the late Dempsey Raymond Akridge and the late Anita Claire Raymond Akridge. She was a loving mother and grandmother and homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Winchester was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Lyn Winchester; brothers, Ralph Akridge and Mark Akridge; and a sister, Donna Frost.
She is survived by her son, Travis (Crystal) Winchester; daughter, Christy (Todd) Burggrave; 5 grandchildren, Madison Winchester, Emilee Winchester, Hunter Winchester, Alexis Burggrave and Kaiden Burggrave; and a brother, Ray Akridge.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
