Judy Lynne Stanley, age 75, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at NHC Springfield.
Mrs. Stanley was born September 6, 1947 in Springfield to the late Robert Earl and Elizabeth Prudence Green Walton.
She was a school teacher at Greenbrier and Springfield High Schools for many years, and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Earl Walton.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Guy Stanley; son, Stan Stanley; daughter, Ley (Corey) McClelland; 3 grandchildren, Morgan (David) Seay, Connor McClelland and Sloane McClelland; 1 great grandchild on the way; nephew, Trey Walden; and a niece, Amanda Walden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, March 4th at the Main Street Church of Christ with Bro. Joe Rushing, Bro. Guy Stanley, and Bro. Barry Throneberry officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Rusty Riddle, Rick Ballard, David Seay, Connor McClelland, Corey McClelland, Amanda Walden, John Walden and Torey Ellis serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Linda Ballard, Lori Bennett-Penn, Marion Zimmerman, Roger Bunch, and all the members of the Robertson County Retired Teachers Association.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Friday and again from 10 am until time of the service at 11 am Saturday at the church.
