Joyce Allbert Graves, age 82, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Minister Pat Pickett officiating. Mrs. Graves remains will be cremated following the funeral service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11 am until the hour of service at 1 pm.

Mrs. Graves was born October 2, 1939 in Nashville, TN to the late Charlie and Clara Bell Strong Allbert. She was the owner of the first Merle Norman Cosmetic companies in Robertson County with one in Springfield and one in White House and was a member of the Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was a past serving elder.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Graves is preceded in death by her in-laws, W.P. and Aileen Graves, her sons-in-law, Kenny Case and Joe Ford, and her special “Ya Ya’s”.

Mrs. Graves is survived by her husband of 55 years, J.W. Graves; children, Vicki (Walter) Williams, J.K. (Angie) Graves, Tammy (Bentley) Parrish, Cindy Graves Case, Kim Graves Ford and Cathy (Mark) Ash; sisters, Elva (Sam) Rice, Dianne (Buster) Cathey and Tina Temple; brother-in-law, Ronnie Graves; grandchildren, Mandy (Brian) Shores, Crockett (Chessica) Parrish, Morgan Ford, Amber Ash, Jon (Grace) Graves, Chaz Parrish, Alex (April) Graves, Justin Ash, Patterson Ford and Emily (Michael) Ballard; 12 great-grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews.

If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Any donations may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.
