Joyce Darlene Raymer, age 63 of Springfield passed away at her home on March 23, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Nashville on January 12, 1960, to the late Walter Lee Raymer, Sr., and Zada Catherine Henley Scott.
Joyce worked for many years as a factory worker. She loved spending time riding her trike and playing the guitar. Joyce loved her family and was always ready for family gatherings. She was blessed with a group of lifelong friends whom she loved as family.
Joyce is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Zada Catherine and Cecil Scott; siblings, Mark Raymer, Connie L Salisbury, Betty Cole, Pat Raymer, Ben Raymer, Ann Adams and Charles Raymer.
She is survived by her partner of 45 years, Melissa A. Brown; fur-baby, Gemma; siblings, Margie (Bill) Brothers, Walter (Sharon) Raymer, Jr., Zada Marcella (Bruce) Noren, Keith Raymer, and Iris A.Skinner and a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored dearly.
A life celebration will be held on Sunday at 1 pm in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home with Steve Carter officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. https://www.springfieldfh.com
