John Richard Short, Jr., age 66, formerly of White House passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 in White House.
He was born November 3, 1956 in Portland, TN to John Richard Short, Sr. & Clara Crenshaw.
He worked as an air conditioning technician for R&R Heating and Cooling. He loved the Atlanta Braves, The Tennessee Titans and was a lifelong Vanderbilt fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Renee Blaylock Short.
He is survived by his daughters, Nicole Short, Gallatin, TN, Jessica (Peter) Harris, Mount Juliet, TN, Rachel (Daniel) Short) White House, TN and Katherine (Cody) Tollison, Fairview, TN; 6 grandchildren, Avery, Aubrey, Rose, Hazel, Colton and Walker; special friends, Wanda and Donnie McLaughlin, Gallatin, TN.
A private family celebration of life will be held.
