John Derald Dukes, age 51 of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
John was born in Hammond, IN on April 22, 1971 to Roger Derald and Ann Walden Dukes.
He was a member of Broadmoor Church of Christ and he dearly loved his family and enjoyed hunting, traveling, baseball, and just about anything outdoors.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Phillip Hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Fix Dukes of Greenbrier; son, Jay Dukes of Franklin, KY; Daughter, Katie (Marshall) Hunt, and their daughters, Esther and Joanna of Hendersonville; parents, Roger Derald and Ann Walden Dukes of KY; sister, Karen (John) Tucker of IN.
Funeral services will be at 7 pm on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Jeremy Sweets officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 7 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 11 am, Tuesday, May 10th in the Commerce Cemetery in Watertown, TN.
