Jerry Wayne Cook, age 81, of Orlinda, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Cook was born in Buffalo, NY on August 18, 1941 to the late Edward Ward and Aleen Joyce Covington Cook.
He was a Nursing Home Administrator for many years and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Robbins Cook; brothers, Thomas Edward Cook and John Udell Cook; and a sister, Anita Faye Brown.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Cawthon and Cathy Ayres; 4 grandchildren, Shasta Gossett, Jamie (Heather) Ayres, Libby Kelly and Brandon (Kirsten) Ayres; 5 great-grandchildren, Justin Craig, Daniel Dennis, Gabe Kelly, Casey Ayres and Josiah Ayres; brother, Marvin M. (Kay) Cook; and a sister, Lanola (Tommy) Davis.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 pm Eastern Time (EST), on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in the Turner Cemetery in Middlesboro, KY with Bro. Herman Denny Jr. officiating.
