Jerry Lauren Hunt, age 79 of Springfield, Tennessee, formerly of Ashland City, died Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Springfield Heights Assisted Living.
Mr. Hunt was born on July 10, 1942 in Pleasant View, Tennessee to the late Lauren & Lula Fort Hunt.
He was a retired Funeral Director. He was a member of Ashland City Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hunt; and brother, Gaines Hunt.
Survivors include his brothers, Don Hunt and Max (Barbara) Hunt; sister-in-law, Lynda Hunt; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 5th, with Bro. Garvin Claiborne officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Joe Mark Fort, George Fort, Johnny Head, Jackson Daniel, Matt Pope, William Pope, Sterling Hunt, Mitch Kizer, Wesley Head, Troy Head, Andy Daniel, and David Fitch serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
