Jean Cobb passed away on October 29, 2024, at NorthCrest Medical Center with her family by her side.
Born September 7, 1932 in Springfield, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Herschel and Bessie Gamble Leftrick.
She was a lifelong resident of Springfield but traveled and lived briefly in several other states while accompanying her husband on the pipeline.
Jean was a charter member of the North Springfield Baptist Church where she attended faithfully for many years as a member of the Joyful Noise Sunday School class. She retired from Nasco and had also worked at Acme Boot.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul Cobb and her second husband, M.L. Craft, her son, Bill Cobb and step-daughter, Peggy Craft Mayfield, brothers, Paul and Ralph Leftrick.
She is survived by daughter in law, Carol Hobdy Cobb of Springfield, grandsons Barry and wife Katherine Cobb of Cottontown and Nicholas and wife Christina Cobb of Springfield, greatgrandchildren Cameron, Chloe and Grayson Cobb, step-daughter Brenda (David) Henderson of Plainville, MA.
Pallbearers are Gary Pope, Ralph Leftrick, Jr., Donnie Leftrick, Phillip Leftrick, Chris Leftrick, Jeff Leftrick and David Dixon.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Robertson County Funeral Home. The funeral service officiated by Bro. Michael Smith will follow at 2 p.m. with burial at Williams Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
