James Wallace Schoolmaster, age 82, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Schoolmaster was born on September 6, 1940, in Grand Rapids MI, to the late Wallace and Rose Kerr Schoolmaster.
James was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. When he got out of the Army he worked and retired as a draftsman for Electrolux in Springfield. He was an avid collector of vinyl records, stamps, and coins. James loved working on his farm, and in his garden.
Mr. Schoolmaster is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bette Schoolmaster of Cedar Hill, daughter; Kimberly Lang of Cedar Hill, Sons; George Schoolmaster of Frankfort, Ky, and Terry Schoolmaster and wife Kristy of Brentwood, Sister; Sue Schoolmaster of Grand Rapids, MI, and Seven Grandchildren.
