James Henderson Tucker, 82, of Greenbrier, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at AHC Vanco Manor in Goodlettsville.
Mr. Tucker was born June 9, 1940, to the late Murrys Thomas and Jessie O’Neal Tucker.
He worked as a carpenter and painter for many years. Mr. Tucker loved fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Ila Bell Roach Tucker, by his daughter: Melissa Tucker, by his brother: Hillis Tucker, by his sisters: Felicia Clubbs and Carol Faye Tucker, and by several stepchildren.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his sons: Joey and Chris Tucker both of Kentucky, by his stepdaughters: Ila Mae Elder of Greenbrier, Sherry Blazer and husband Randy of Goodlettsville, by his brothers: Scotty Tucker of Portland, Roger Tucker of Hartsville, and Randall Tucker of Portland, by his sisters: Geneive Litton of Burns, Joyce Mayes of Woodbury, and Kathy Tucker of Hartsville, by his six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
