James Earl Pinson, 86, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Pinson was born May 19, 1938, in Orlinda, to the late Joel and Tabitha Claborn Pinson.
He was a graduate of Greenbrier High School Class of 1956. Mr. Pinson was retired from the maintenance division of Dupont, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Jimmy and Todd Pinson.
Mr. Pinson is survived by his wife, Sandra Bruce Pinson, of whom he would be married to for 68 years this coming December, by his son: Larry Bruce Pinson and wife Vicki of Greenbrier, by his grandchildren: Melissa Caldwell and husband Rex, Jessica Cole and husband Matt, by his great-grandchildren: Hudson James Caldwell and Paxton Hayes Cole, and by his two brothers.
His remains will be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.
