Hillery “Tommy” Rippy Jr., age 61 of White House passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 10, 1961 in Nashville, TN to Hillery Thomas & Shirley Jean Whitney Rippy.
He was employed as a Regional Manager with Apple Collision Centers. He enjoyed working on cars, grilling, visiting the beach, shooting fireworks and doing handyman chores around the house. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Myrtie more than anything else. He was a member of the Church at Grace Park.
He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Allen Emery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Tina Garland Rippy; sons, Chason (Megan) Rippy and Chris Rippy; brother John Rippy, all of White House, TN; sisters Renee (Randall) Emery, Gallatin, TN, Dana (Mark) Stribling, White House, TN; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Visitation with the family is planned for Friday, July 28, 2023 4-8 pm and Saturday, July 29, 2023 10 am-12 pm at the funeral home.
