Georgia Elizabeth Randolph Phillips, 98, of Springfield, passed from this life on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Signature of Portland.
Ms. Georgia was born June 17, 1924, in Springfield, to the late Albert and Ada Moore Randolph.
She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife that worked along side her husband each day. Ms. Georgia enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John C. Phillips, by her sons: Larry and Robert Phillips, and by several brothers and sisters.
Ms. Georgia is survived by her son: Glenn Phillips of Orlinda, by nine grandchildren, and by many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Hopewell Cemetery with Brother David Harper officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Randy Phillips, Gary Phillips, Joseph Phillips, and James Randolph.
