Frank S. Daruk, Jr., 78, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at his home.
Frank was born September 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Frank and Helen Yarmick Daruk, Sr.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, was a retired Materials Management Supervisor with American Airlines, and was of the Catholic faith. Frank loved his County and his family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren. He was an exclusive member of Steve’s Auto Pro, and loved listening to music, especially his doo wops.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by the love of his life, his wife of 53 years: Rose Aglione Daruk.
Frank is survived by his children: Donna (Scott MacDonald) Daruk of St. Louis, Dora (Christopher) Escue of Springfield, and Frank (Callie) Daruk of Russellville, KY, by his brothers: Robert Daruk of Valley Stream, NY, and Matthew Daruk of Brighton, NY, and by his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 9th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Jorge Runquist officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
