Earl Landon Beasley, Sr., age 84, of Greenbrier, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home.
Visitation will be held at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5-8 pm. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 with Pastor John Hitz officiating. Burial will follow with Mr. Beasley’s grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Beasley was born October 2, 1937 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Clarence E. and Anna Belle Blessing Beasley. He worked as a foreman at Gates Rubber Company and was a member of the Gideon United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his sister, Aldene Lance, and his son-in-law, William Troy Cobb.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife of 62 years, DeLois Huddleston Beasley; sons and daughter-in-law, Earl and Cheryl Beasley and Gary Dean Beasley; daughters and son-in-law, Dedra Lynn and Bill Hickman and Sharon Kay Cobb; sister, Patricia “Pat” Land; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Richard Howell; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
