Douglas Wayne Hart, 80, of White House, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the Gallatin Rehab and Healing Center in Gallatin.

Mr. Hart was born February 15, 1943, in Springfield, to the late Orien and Mary Katherine Smith Hart.

He was a retired elevator installer, a member of the Robertson County Coon Hunter’s Association, a member of the White Oak Fishing Club, a member of the National Elevator Industry Union, and was a member of Barren Plains Baptist Church. Mr. Hart enjoyed coon hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Maxine Doan, Maurice and Bobby Hart.

Mr. Hart is survived by his wife of 57 years: Patsy White Hart of White House, by his son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Crystal Hart of White House, by his daughters and son-in-law: Kimberly Hart of White House, Kecia and Eric LaFond of Gallatin, by his sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Owen Barrett of Ardmore, and by his grandchildren: Domonique Cartwright, Dante Cartwright, Jada Hart, Jasmine Hart, Dakota Sasser, Damon LaFond, Chloe Hart, and Christian Hart.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the White House Memorial Gardens with Eric LaFond, Dakota Sasser, Christian Hart, Domonique Cartwright, Jada Hart, and Dante Cartwright serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. https://www.robertsoncountyfuneralhome.com
