Donnie Ray Laney, age 69 of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, died Monday, September 13, 2021 at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 17th, with Bro. Thomas T. Rawls officiating. Burial will follow in Mallory’s Cemetery with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 17th from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM.
Mr. Laney was born on August 12th, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Clyde Lillard & Sallie Margaret Harris Laney. He was retired from CRT Packaging Company. He enjoyed fishing and was a huge UT fan. Mr. Laney loved his family most especially his grandchildren. He attended Organic Community Christian Church in Greenbrier.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Laney; and brother, Wayne Casey.
Survivors include his children Kassandra Laney, Kameron Laney, Kliford (Tiffany) Laney, and Khrystan Laney; brothers, Terry (Jeanette) Laney, and Randall (Carolyn) Laney; and grandchildren, Maddox Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Noah Laney, and Kliford Laney.
