Dennis Duane Schwartz, age 74 of Greenbrier passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. His remains are to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Dennis was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin on January 12, 1947 to the late Franklin Charles and Sonia Zerbe Schwartz.
He was preceded in death by siblings; Janet Timm, Clifton Schwartz, Jack Schwartz, Charles Schwartz, and Florence Mary Valliere.
Dennis served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He spent most of his career in the construction industry and retired as an International Site Inspector for high suspension bridges.
Dennis made friends wherever he went. His hobbies included rebuilding vintage cars and trucks, remodeling homes, fishing, traveling, and watching the Greenbay Packers.
Family was important to Dennis and he loved spending time with them; at home, on Facetime/phone, and traveled to see those out of town often.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Cindy Schwartz, daughters; Jesse (Eddie Ward) Schwartz of Greenbrier, Tiffany (Bob) Schwartz-Weidman of Texas, and Cheri Schwartz of Texas. Siblings; Barb Wolocz, David (JoAnn) Schwartz, Franklin Schwartz, Jr., Pamela (Joseph) McGinnis, Satin Smith (David Page), Linda (David) Myers, Donna (Roger) Bushor, Virginia (Terry) Fedowitz, Penny (Dan) Ross; Grandchildren: Olivia, Robby, Tyler, Justin, Dallas and Wendy, and 5 great-grandchildren.
