Della Lee “Lady Lee” Smith, 64, of Springfield, passed from this life on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at her home.
Celebration of life services will be conducted Saturday, September 25th at 12 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Della was born on April 10, 1957, in Springfield. She had worked as the manager of Springfield Krystal for many years. Her favorite pastime was relaxing on her front porch.
Della was preceded in death by her mother: Ella Lee Smith Head, by her sister: Bertha Smith, by her grandson: Christavis Sunbear, by her partner: Cal Thomas Payne, and by her brother-in-law: Jimmy Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Antonio (Amanda) Smith of Springfield, and Jonah (Rachel Ryan) Smith of Springfield, her brothers: James Head of Bowling Green, KY, and Tim (Pam) Baker of Springfield, her sisters: Lillie Taylor, Florence Head, and Louise Head all of Springfield, her grandchildren: Tanisha Smith, Keshaun Smith, Kenyon Smith, De’Lyana DiDonato, Justice Smith, Alex DiDonato, Jonah Smith, Jr., Tianna Burdge, Jacob Ryan, and Jada Ryan, her great-grandchildren: K’layah Wilson, Navia Blakemore, and Ariella Ortiz.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
