David Morrison Scottorn, a real estate agent who worked alongside his daughter, has sadly passed away at the of 81.

He was known for his love of life and the moments he shared with his family. David was born in Fillmore, UT, on January 6, 1943, to his parents Jack and Elizabeth Lee Scottorn. He grew up with his brothers Jack, Ted, and Tom.

Throughout his life, David found joy in various activities such as traveling back home to Salt Lake City, playing golf, spending quality time with his loved ones, fishing, sailing, indulging in all kinds of sports, and riding motorcycles. His vibrant personality shone through as a fun and loving husband, dad, grandfather, and brother. David was also recognized for being strong-willed and direct in his approach to life.

Among his proudest accomplishments were being a devoted father and a loving husband. He cherished the 49 years he spent alongside his wife Jane Ann Scottorn. Together they raised their children Robert “Rob” Thomas (DeAnn Wallin) Scottorn and April Ann “Scottorn” Pearson. David was also a doting grandfather to Zachary David Pearson and Ayden Lee Pearson. He is survived by his siblings Jack L. Scottorn and Thomas K. Scottorn.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate the life of David Morrison Scottorn will take place on April 3, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Springfield, TN. The gathering will be a time to honor the memories shared with David from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. https://www.springfieldfh.com

David will be dearly missed by all who knew him but will forever be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing that he has left behind a legacy of joy and cherished moments that will be forever treasured by those whose lives he touched.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers and/or gifts that a donation is made to Alive Hospice.
