David Lee Gregory, 73, of Springfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, January 16, 2023, at his home.
David was born on January 18, 1949, in Springfield.
He was a graduate of White House High School Class of 1967 and was a retired Inventory Specialist/Locator for the City of Springfield Gas Department. David loved shooting sports, guns, CB Radio, motorcycles, fishing, and was an athlete that enjoyed playing and watching all kinds of sports. He was a jack of all trades and loved playing ping pong with his buddies.
David was preceded in death by his father: Walter Lee Gregory, by his mother: Josephene Baldwin Nobach, by his brother: Randall Aaron Nobach, and by his grandson: Landon David Estes Gregory.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years: JoAnn Moffitt Gregory of Springfield, by his son: David Lynn Gregory of Springfield, by his daughters: Teresa Gregory Smith and husband Brad of Greenbrier, Lisa Cadwell and husband Terry of Springfield, and Denise Routzahn and husband Eric of Springfield, by his brothers and sister-in-law: Timmy and Brenda Gregory of Ridgetop and Bryan Ferguson of Texas, by his sister and brother-in-law: Debbie and David Norman of Clarksville, by his grandchildren: Samantha Keith, Matt Richardson, Josef Urban, Kyle Cadwell, Emma Gregory, Thomas Gregory, Blake Smith, and Camron Smith, and by his great-grandchildren: Emmitt Keith, Stoney Richardson, and Cayson Gregory.
Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, January 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Greg Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
