Curt Hall

Curtis E. “Curt” Hall, 79, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday August 28, 2021, at NorthCrest Health.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 4th at 12 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Dave Rose, II, Lunden Ruhstaller, Buzzy Poole, Elijah Sherrod, Doug Heighton, and Alex Heighton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Hall was born August 20, 1942, in Canton, OH to the late Henry and Ruby Bollinger Hall. He was a retired machinist from Unarco, a member of North Springfield Baptist Church, and a member of the Board of Directors at Byrum Porter Senior Center in Orlinda. Mr. Hall enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards, and his favorite hobby was getting in the car with his wife and driving anywhere and everywhere they wanted to go.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Robert C. Hall, by his grandson: Kenneth Schutt, Jr., by his son-in-law: Troy Parks, and by his siblings: Ralph Hall, Henry Hall, Jr., and Connie Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 59 years: Helen Blackburn Hall of Springfield, by his daughters and son-in-law; Shelley and Donnie Payne of Springfield, Tracy Parks of Springfield, by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Carl and Linda Hall of Alliance, OH, Kenny and Cheryl Hall of Louisville, OH, by his sister: Charlotte Plympton of Springfield, and by his 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the North Springfield Baptist Church building fund or to the Byrum Porter Senior Center in Orlinda. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
