Charles Dallas Heatherly, age 85, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11 am in the Springfield Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Mr. Heatherly was born September 24, 1936 in Springfield to the late Clyde and Callie Powell Heatherly.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, worked as a farmer all his life, and was a member of the Barren Plains Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Heatherly is preceded in death by his son, Charles E. Heatherly, and his daughter, Barbara Kinnaird.
Mr. Heatherly is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie Fort Heatherly; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Tony Morris, Sr.; son-in-law, Dave Kinnaird; daughter-in-law, Rosie Heatherly; grandchildren, Stacy McVay, Julie Thompson, David Kinnaird, Jesse Heatherly, Ashley Heatherly, Tony Morris, Jr., and Bryan Lee Morris; and great-grandchildren, Colton Morris, Brittany Brown, Pierce Cottner, and Aiden Cottner.
