Cathy Jean Bowling, age 58 of Springfield, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at The Residence of Alive Hospice.
She was born December 31, 1963 in Nashville, TN to Robert & Linda Edwards Roberts.
She attended Goodlettsville High School, where she played basketball and softball. She worked in the check processing department for the Federal Reserve until becoming disabled. She enjoyed going gambling with her girlfriend and was an avid Titans and Lady Vols fan.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Roberts.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Danny Bowling, Springfield, TN; father, Robert Roberts; sons, Christopher Stewart, Hartsville, TN and David (Amanda) Stewart, White House, TN; step-son, Daniel Bowling, Springfield, TN; brother, Jeff (Sharon) Roberts, Lebanon, TN; sister, Carolyn (Jim) Leidy, Lebanon, TN; 6 grandchildren, Noah, Maura, Mitchell, Jackson, Rosaline, and Josiah.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 7 pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. David Smith officiating. Visitation with the family is planned for Thursday, May 5, 2022 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
The family requests that casual attire be worn to the visitation and to the service.
