Brian Gene Rowland, 69, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at TriStar North Crest Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 24th at 12 noon in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Pallbearers will be Reed Simpson, Tyler Simpson, Austin Simpson, Dewey Rowland, Chris Biggs, and James Coleman. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Brian was born November 6, 1951, in Wyandotte, MI to the late Calvin and Margaret Repp Rowland. He was a retired maintenance worker with A.O. Smith in Ashland City. Brian loved fishing and was an avid Nashville Predator’s fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Kathryn Sampson.
Brian is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn Sampson Rowland of Springfield, by his sons and daughter-in-law: Brian Shawn Rowland of Springfield, Eric and Sharae Rowland of Ashland City, by his daughters and son-in-law: Kimberly Coleman of Portland, Melissa and Reed Simpson of Ashland City, his son-in-law James Coleman of Portland, by his sister: Mary Veddar of Michigan, and by his 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
