Age 91, of Greenbrier, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 1, 2022, at her home.
She was born February 16, 1931, in Springfield, TN to Samuel & Esmer Warren Mayes. She worked as a cashier for several local grocery stores before her retirement. Brenda enjoyed tending to her flowers, quilting, knitting sweaters, and painting.
She was a dedicated Christian woman and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She had also enjoyed being a member and participating in the Robertson County Home Demonstration Clubs over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd B. Hulsey; two brothers, Ralph Mayes and Edward Mayes. She is survived by her son, Gary Margie) Hulsey and Randy Hulsey, both of Greenbrier, TN; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristy, and Shaun; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way.
Graveside service and interment are scheduled for Monday Morning July 4, 2022, at 9 am in Mayes Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. There is no public visitation planned.
