Billy Wayne Parker, age 82 of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at his home.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Bellwood Cemetery with Jimmy Orand officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Mr. Parker was born July 12, 1940 in Saddlersville to the late Ellis and Lorene Qualls Parker.
He was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ where he had served as a deacon before his health began to fail. He was retired from Unarco where he worked as a computer operator.
He loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Jo Byrns Class of 1958 and was a Tennessee Titans and University of Tennessee Volunteers fan. He enjoyed traveling and antiques as well.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lt. General Donald Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Cline Parker of Greenbrier; son and daughters-in-law, Mark and Lisa Parker of Springfield and Ricky and Cindy Parker of Russellville, KY; grandchildren, Jonathan Parker, Joshua Parker, Mackenzie Wilson, Marissa Parker, and Savannah Mohr; and 8 great-grandchildren.
