Betty Lou Douglas Shreeve, age 74 of Springfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Tristar NorthCrest Medical Center.
Ms. Betty was born May 20, 1948 in Greenbrier to the late Archie Ray and Hazel Marie Cohea Douglas.
She was of the Baptist faith and retired from NHC Healthcare where she was a cook. She enjoyed cooking, especially desserts, and enjoyed watching television.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Archie Mack Douglas; grandson, Caleb Douglas O’Saile; and sisters, Linda Charney and Ruby Escue.
Surviving her is her son, Creston “Bubba” O’Saile (Lisa Brown) of Cedar Hill; daughter, Becky (Jason) Davis of Greenbrier; sisters, Emily Mayes and Patsy Sprouse, both of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Kim (Marc) Zugelder, James (Taylor) O’Saile, and Colton Davis; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with James O’Saile, Colton Davis, Jason Davis, Bud McCroy, Jason Lassiter, and Billy Phillips serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.
