Alfred Nile Boyter, age 72 of Springfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Springfield.
Alfred was born June 1, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Doc Leonard and Mitty Marie Boyter.
He was a member of Springfield 1st Presbyterian Church, a board member of the Robertson County Credit Union, and a member of the Springfield Civitan Club. He was also a past member of the Robertson County School Board where he served for several years. He retired from NorthCrest Medical Center and was presently doing electrical and plumbing work. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and watching birds.
He is survived by wife, Dale Dean Boyter of Springfield; sons and daughter-in-law, William Brock and Shelley Boyter of Springfield and Andrew Blake Boyter of Orlando, FL; sisters, Kay Jackson of Springfield and Kathy Johnson of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Jestin Pinkelton and Easton Pinkelton; and nieces, P.J. Johnson of Springfield, Amanda Johnson of Greenbrier, and Tiffany Tanner of Savannah, TN.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Open Door Pregnancy Center and may be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
