Mrs. Asia Hindman has accepted the position of Assistant Principal at Jo Byrns High School.
Munford High School in western Tennessee was Hindman’s first teaching position in 2010. Since then she has also taught in Houston, Montgomery, and Dickson counties. Currently, she is seeking her Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and has served as a graduation coach as well as coached various athletic teams in the past.
Hindman offered positive thoughts on her new position, saying, “I am looking forward to working alongside the teachers, students, and community of JBHS. JBHS is unique in that students in grades 6-12 are in one building. I am excited to get to know the students and watch them grow from middle school students into confident young adults that are equipped with the knowledge and tools to be successful in their future endeavors.”
Principal Jeff Haines said he’s excited to bring Mrs. Hindman onboard at Jo Byrns. “I like learning creative ideas from other school systems,” he said, “and Mrs. Hindman brings us that experience and background.”
