A piece of local history has returned to the Springfield Fire Department!

A 1956 Mack Fire Engine was the lead truck for many years and in the 1980’s, it became the reserve/relay truck.

In the early 2000’s, the Mack Engine was sold to Jim Beasley who restored the vehicle and allowed the Springfield Fire Department to use the Mack Engine for events.

Now, over a decade later, the truck is back with the Springfield Fire Department after a recent purchase from Beasley.
